IMPORTANT!

Firstly, since this has been posted in quick succession of the most recent post -- make sure you read down one as well.

On to the importance. A long-time reader has posted a very dire query. I figured I should address it as soon as possible, and being as it is a question of mass importance it gets it's own post.
